The Dark Lord has been defeated and their armies driven from your home. However, this was done at a great cost: the Fellowship of Heroes sacrificed everything to free you, and they lie buried alongside the Dark Lord under a collapsed fortress. Yours is the unenviable task of rebuilding your home, and navigating a world no longer bound by the grasp of the Dark Lord. Just because the forces of pure evil have been driven away doesn't mean that there is peace and cooperation. In many ways, the most difficult days lie ahead.

In this game, players take on the roles of community leaders, politicians, and other persons of authority in a fictional city in a fictional country that has just been freed from the control of a Dark Lord. As Representatives, players will make decisions about rebuilding their City, trying to do the best they can for their Communities, without falling into chaos and violence. Players will make deals, compromises, and concessions, with a deck of cards and a dice roll providing Windfalls, Flashpoints, and Crises that the players must overcome to realize their goals and rebuild their nation.
